The High Priestess is sometimes referred to as the Pisces of the tarot deck and with good reason.
This does not mean that she is only connected to people born under Pisces, but instead that she relates to the feminine, murky, strong, watery power that runs through us all and through the entire Universe!
This card indicates that the subject of the reading itself is important, and the guidance being offered by Spirit is even more so.
However, you are not going to absorb the messages of the High Priestess with your logical mind. This is about feelings and spirit.

This is the energy of spiritual affection and connection – it’s the knowledge that you are loved and that you don’t have to twist yourself into a pretzel to keep your friendships and your family relationships intact.
You just have to honor the deep part of it – the part that lives in silence. Listen carefully to what your loved ones have to say. Quiet yourself enough so that you can hear that still, small voice inside yourself which says things like tell him or her that you care, or even to explain that you aren’t sure what is happening but that you will listen until you are sure. Take heed and act upon whatever the messages are that this still, small voice gives to you.

If you are in a romantic relationship this card indicates that there is a great deal of actual emotion between the two of you. It also points to there being more than meets the eye that is going on.
What that means is that there is a strong possibility that one or both of you is only seeing the issue at a surface level. There is an issue between you that cannot be solved by only considering the superficial. Just because everything appears shiny on the surface doesn’t mean that it is. Make sure there isn’t rust developing underneath.
If, on the other hand, you are not in a relationship then you might find opportunities appearing to enable a romance to begin. You need to be aware though that everyone that you deal with will not necessarily have the same balance and that their darker side may well get the upper hand with their day-to-day dealings with people, but they will not win forever.
