General Interpretation
The 10 of Wands is all about carrying a burden and right now yours is likely to be feeling very heavy indeed. Sometimes this burden will be a personal one, sometimes it will be a business or work related one. And quite often it will be both.
You need to take a long hard look at what is so heavy and figure out if you are carrying something that truthfully belongs to someone else. If so, then give it back for it is their burden, not yours. Take a look at what remains and see if there is anything else that you could figuratively put down for a while. You need to lighten your load. Do so if you can and if you can’t then take it slow and easy.
The ten will often appear when you feel as if you have worked yourself to the bone. You’re tired and could do with a break to recover and if you can do so you should take one.
Friends and Family
This is not a particularly good time for friends and family. There is likely to be a lot going on and you may feel that it is all getting a bit too much for you. Whether the burden you are carrying is all yours or whether it is partly someone else’s, the 10 of Wands is telling you that it may be that you need to lighten the load.
If the burden is truthfully all yours then don’t be afraid to ask for help from those you care for and who care for you. It’s what family and friends are truly all about.
If the burden is partly, or even wholly, someone else’s then you should ask yourself if you are doing more than your fair share. Helping is all very well but sometimes too much is being asked. Can someone else help take a part of the load you are carrying?

Love and Relationships
The appearance of the 10 of Wands is not good for those of you in a relationship, but it does not signify that nothing can be done. It is telling you that something is wrong. Now sometimes it may be that it is your partner that is suffering rather than the relationship itself, but most times it will indeed be the relationship.
You can still do something about this if you and your partner want to survive as a couple. You are not doomed by any stretch of the imagination. What you cannot do though, is to pretend that nothing is wrong, for that will be a slippery slope to start down.
Take you head out of the sand and start fixing what needs to be fixed.
If you are still waiting for your love to appear the ten is telling you that you will have to wait a while longer. Any endeavors to find true love right now are likely to go unrewarded. Instead, take a break and recharge your batteries so that you are operating at 100% when the time is more auspicious.
Spiritual Growth
You are likely to feel that your spiritual burden right now is every bit as heavy as the one you carry in the physical realm. You need to understand and accept that you cannot go on adding to either load indefinitely for if you do then something will eventually give. You may be strong but your strength is not limitless. See what you can do to lighten your load.
Although it will not be easy to attain, spiritual growth is not beyond your grasp right now, but you may need some help to make it happen. You would benefit from asking someone else to give you a hand so to speak. They will not see that as a sign of weakness and neither should you.
Work and Career
Now might be a very good time for you to ask for help at work. Your workload is likely to be very heavy and being realistic, is probably more than you can manage. There is a cultural admonition in the USA in particular, but in some other countries too, that to ask for help is a sign of weakness. It isn’t. It is a sign of strength.
If you are looking for work the ten at first sight is very negative as it is telling you that you are not going to find a job right now and your efforts are likely to be unsuccessful. But it also carries a very positive message: Keep trying and you will not fail for you can only fail if you stop trying.
