General Introduction
The Page of Pentacles is to some extent about boredom and the problems it brings if left unchecked or dealt with improperly.
There are often times in life when what we are doing simply doesn’t hold our interest and boredom creeps in. This situation is exacerbated if the job you have is already fundamentally boring.
Although it may be tempting to do or say things to try and liven things up a little it would not be in your best interests to do so. Try and find a better use than that for your creativity, or it is likely to backfire on you.
The Page is telling you that you need to focus and that you have the ability to do so if you put the effort in to make it happen.
Friends and Family
This is a time that everything to do with friends and family is going to feel like it’s more of the “same old same old” and that can get boring very quickly.
It’s not that they don’t care, or that they don’t love you, but simply that even those closest to you can at times get on your nerves. This does not necessarily mean that it is all their fault of course because you too have played a part in what is going on.
Try and take steps to get things back to normal and to put this current lethargy behind you. You should do this in a carefully measured way so putting it quite bluntly engage your brain before opening your mouth and don’t say anything that will be better left unsaid.

Love and Relationships
You are likely to be feeling that things aren’t going as well as you thought or had hoped they would in your relationship and you would be right. All relationships lose their initial shine with time of course and that’s why “maintenance” is so important.
The appearance of the Page of Pentacles doesn’t necessarily mean that your relationship is doomed, but it is a warning sign that shouldn’t be ignored.
You and your partner need to take steps to remedy the situation though, and to do so before too much longer. Be honest with each other and see what you can do to polish the relationship car and restore it to its former glory.
If you are looking for love then this is likely to be a lean period for you and it’s not because there’s nobody out there waiting to be found because there is. You are simply not yet ready to meet someone new. The past is holding you back. Are you truly over your last love?
You need to let go of the past so that you can move forward. You should always learn from the past but you shouldn’t be constantly looking over your shoulder at it. How can you see what’s ahead if all you do is look behind you?
Spiritual Growth
The Page indicates that this is not going to be a particularly fruitful time for you spiritually. You have got bogged down and you are going to need to make an effort to focus in order to get moving again.
Think about what is causing your current ennui and then make a plan to change things. The steps you need to take may still be boring but at least you will be moving again.
You might find this easier to do if you seek help from someone spiritual.
Work and Career
This is another of those times when there simply won’t be enough hours in the day for you to be able to get the work that is currently awaiting your attention done. Not only is there a lot of it but it is fundamentally uninteresting to boot.
The end result is that you are likely to feel overwhelmed and unenthusiastic. You can get this work done but you will need to focus to do so. In addition if you feel that you need help to get it done as opposed to just want help then don’t hesitate to ask for it.
If you are looking for work then this is a period that is likely to be somewhat frustrating for you. It’s not that there are no jobs out there because there are but they are going to take a lot of your time and effort to find them. Extra browsing of recruitment sites, extra newspapers to be read, more phone calls to be made, more people to be asked, and so on.
Boring? Yes! But absolutely vital if you want to find that job.
